What's YOUR experience with the Nicochu?

Because I felt the forum needs one.
This doesn't necessarily mean you have to have a Nico account. You don't even have to participate in this topic if you have one and don't want to, or don't have one and don't want to get one.

If you have a Nico account, what's your experience with the Nicochu?

I'll start.

Kenji is so far well recieved.
"Cool! Oh oh this voice of choice it's so- This is a handsome voice!"

I think they like Yuuta pretty well. My favourite comment has been something along the lines of "Why is his last name 'bad sound' when he's such a nice boy?" It made me giggle. Someone called him soothing though, which struck me as odd. xD

But yeah, overall, they're pretty nice and I'm not sure where everyone got the idea that they're stuck-up, terrible people.

And, Montan (Run and Mon's creator) got really excited and made this adorable blog post about the video wherein I made Lala and Run sing together... very nice. *u*

I haven't uploaded anything to Nico Nico Douga so haven't dealt with them.
Mainly because I don't speak or read a word of and I'm well Dylesxic, Not a good combo. xD

The nicochu have been nothing but helpful to me.
They have given me tips, and gave me advice on how to make Nana sound clearer
and they are never rude about it

They seem to like Hachi as well~
I get nice comments on her : )

I haven't gotten much because I didn't upload anything of Vista to NicoNico Douga yet.

Hopefully, I shall eventually.

But I can't read Japanese. Yay for online translators *SHOT*

Kirin is okay... she only got one video xD
The comments I can read/made sense, one said "thank you?!" and another was "It is a very good voice" and when translating the others, they have the words "legend" and "equipment" lol but I couldn't tell what they exactly say...

The nico folks are ice cool about Lavan; generally the clearest opinion was "pretty good voice".
I have no idea on 911, but he's generally ignored.

I can't read kanji, so 90% of the comments I don't understand.

Is there any way to copy-paste nico comments :C

Yes there is ^^. I found instructions on how when I was looking for instructions on how to sign up xD.
I'll try to find that link I learned from... because I don't think I can explain adaquately.

...I think the last two have to do with the red moss on the rock in the "You" video, aha... |||OTL

I talk to Nicochus over email. I've spoken to one over MSN, though. Seeing as I have nothing to post on Nico, they don't really comment on anything I do.

However, usually they're critical of work... Though the ones who realize I'm a teenage girl and they're a grown man tend to sugarcoat their criticism just a tiny bit.

Nicochu hate me 8'D

Well, not all of them, but two or three who insist on posting "hidoi" and "eww, gross" in Aline's vids. I think they stopped (now they're spamming numbers. GREAT. I wish they understood her original purpose, but language barrier sucks. orz)

Ah, and Mae. She made a lovely spamwall in Aline's Pane dhiria vid, including a post about other voicers/UTAUloids that seemed offensive (which irked me a lot and made me block her for good). But she doesn't count as nicochu, so, I disregard her.

In vids where Aline doesn't appear, I'm pretty well-received, though. They loved Pine's "I'll Quit Singing" and Iku's "Toeto" XD They love the vids I make with Fjord as well~

So far I got one comment on nico, and it was complaining about sound quality..^^; I was hoping it was something positive when I first saw it.. It was kinda disappointing really, I at least hoped for an opinion on my UTAU's voice.

　Funny thing is that sometimes a Nico user will adopt something (like an unknown macloid) and give it laser vision for no real reason.

Only one bad thing could ever see/translate for Hana was that her voice was peachy.

Otherwise, good/neutral reviews (for some reason I keep getting "kawaii" in Japanese). I have a feeling there are some negative comments on Hana's Hyeseong video, though, mostly about the slurred hangul (couldn't read anything besides ha-n-gu-ru orz)

If someone could translate the comments on my videos I'd be grateful, I don't get what half of them mean...

I don't get enough comments to really judge though.

On my Len Bad Apple!! video I got one comment saying sound-to-voice ratio was bad; the rest said "wktk" and "Len is cute"...

/EDIT: One of the comments said, "Without a doubt, she is most definitely from South Korea." I had to laugh. Apparently, Korean Americans don't exist...and since the release of Hana's Korean voicebank they like to spam the video with "KIMCHI". Wow, thanks.

I think they use the words 海外組 (Foreign group) to refer to Overseas UTAU.

Though I used to always label my videos as "Han UTAU ka-ba-" (Korean-UTAU Cover)

I always got good comments like "Wow! It sounds almost like from japan!" and "Really nice/cute voice--" *v*;;;

I haven't posted any videos there with Shou singing in Korean yet, so I'm not sure how it'll be recieved there ahaa; orz. (You can post japanese on Korean sites usually, but it's dangerous the other way around ahaa eue;; )

The nico that made her an original song said the bank had nice quality and that her foreign accent was cute so I was really happy. ouo

Regarding tensions between Japan and Korea, I didn't see much of a problem with that - there was one comment about Koreans not being well-received by Japanese, and one comment possibly saying something about "discrimination" (although google translate may have failed on that second one). But expect a lot of comments about kimchi. As soon as I saw the recurring pattern of "キムチ" I knew...

I've gotten a few good comments.

"Original voice/tone" or some things like that
"NYAAAHSOKAWAII*-*" wait, wut. (This particular comment wasn't translated at all, just so you know)
I get a fair few "goodjob"s
So far on the two Kii vids I've posted, I got "1" as well as one full stop mark.
And my favourite Nico comment of all time....
"(_ﾟ∀ﾟ)o彡 Vi~ai! Vi~ai! (_ﾟ∀ﾟ)o彡 Vi~ai! Vi~ai!" For the Bad Apple vid I put up.

I was browsing UTAU-videos when I found a comment (in English) that siad: 'SRS is wonderful woman. I want to marry her.'

And I was like: ROFL

The Nicochu have mostly been nice to me. ^__^ I think they like Kazuko, a couple people said she was "delicious." o.o With Scherzo they just said "Len is better" and made fun of my art. XD;;

And Shura's been recieved good too. There's this one person on her who kept on saying キラ姉さん！キラ姉さんじゃないですか！ (Kira-neesan! Isn't it Kira-neesan?) on her Melt and Meltdown videos. later, when I knew I spelled her name wrong, I got シュラ姐さんだー (It's Shura-san). Probably the same person, but I don't know what they mean by it xDD
I also got 海外組も調教次第で変わるねＧＪ (Sleep GJ into which foreign countries class changes depending on training, too). I don't know what they want with sleep, but yeah.. o.O
There was also someone who talked about configuration of bases (in english), but does anyone know what that is? o.o

Well....I do have a Nico account, but I've yet to post anything, becuase the main purpose that I joined was to watch vids that weren't on Youtube. (kinda bland). I might post some of Saru's stuff, though. That really reminds me that I really do need to make him sing some more.... -__-
