I recently got some comments asking if I was American or something, and then it was followed up by "We are better" or something like that.. Then on a different video I got a comment that translated from google as "Strong voice shelf". I got happy, but then I decided to try it out in a different translator and got "No strong voice".. I guess I got nothing but negative so far..

It's a proven fact that most of the Japanese UTAU users are sick as hell of overseas users spamming up their Nico.
Not all of them, just a freakin' lot of them. Most of the time they'll leave the overseas users alone unless they're feeling nice and say "cute", "gj", but you know that when you get really sick of something, you can't help but lash out a teeny bit.
... But the person who asked you that and said they were better was A) jealous, B) Really bad with words, or C) Has a big stick up their butt.

I think the only praise-worthy comment a vid with Aline ever received (besides the eventual "kawaii" and "GJ") was in her Daughter of Evil with Defoko, when a Japanese user thought it was better than the original (according to the three translators I used ^^'); then again, it got Defoko on it, it might explain a lot. Maybe if I make her sing with Rook they'll like as well, but because it got Rook in it.

Most of my newer vocaloid/UTAU stuff get good replies, and some Nicochus are aware and know some Tagalog. I run into occasional bastards writing english spam though.

In my case in the OLD videos I've submitted (and then deleted), the first one said something like "It was getting good (the song) but with an horrible ending", and others said "scary" and some "good job"...very random.
Then I've posted another one and there was a comment that said "you get a bit better"
At least they were honest with me. :U

There's usually one kanji I can't read in the Nico comments, and I imagine those ones are from Haku and Otono being butts and trying to be extra difficult (despite adding GJ's at the end), but scarfu and I have gotten good comments overall- mostly things like sugoiii, and sugoku ne, and GJ/Ii na.
Now does anyone want to tell me how to copy paste nico comments? xD
